Due to the extraordinary performance of the employees, the management of the FRICKE Group decided to round up the donation amount to the full ten thousand, i.e. 20,000 euros. “I was very impressed by the great commitment shown by our employees this year. We were once again able to admire extraordinary sporting achievements, but it was above all the large number of small activities that brought about such a great result”, Hans-Peter Fricke, Managing Director of the FRICKE Group, appreciates the commitment of the employees.
The donation sum from the FRICKE Social Run 2021 was supplemented by €5,000, which the projects selected by an online vote had already been approved in advance. The FRICKE Group is also supporting ten diverse regional projects this year: from the creative corner and outdoor kitchen in day care centers and a wind power pump for the school garden to an association for solidarity agriculture and the Heeslingen wildlife aid to support for needy children and women or the care of needy animals.
The desire to also support German flood aid with the FRICKE Social Run 2021 came from the workforce. For this reason, Aktion Deutschland Hilft received €1,000 from the FRICKE Group in advance, which was followed by a further €10,000 after the end of the FRICKE Social Run 2021. “I am delighted that we were able to support so many exciting projects again this year. A very special concern of the entire group of companies this year was to support those affected in the flood areas. Be it with financial support, the delivery of relief supplies or the personal commitment of numerous employees on site," says Hans-Peter Fricke proudly.
A total of 173 employees of the group of companies took part in the FRICKE Social Run 2021. But not only in Germany was money raised for a good cause with sporting activities, employees from seven other nations - Denmark, Finland, France, Italy, Poland, Portugal and Romania - also took part in the campaign this year.
